The History Scholarships aim of this project is to develop automated tools that allow temporal visual content, such as human pointing, using sign language, or interact with an object or another human being, which must be learned from standard TV broadcasts transmitted signal using the annotation in the form of subtitles and annotations for the blind as supervision. This requires the development of the visual appearance and dynamic model of action, and methods which can train such a model using the weak supervision provided by the subtitles.History Scholarships Once the model has learned they can then be used without supervision, such as sign language interpretation or for automatic content description of video recordings, and demonstrators during the project will be engineered to both these applications.

Postdoctoral Position History Scholarships at Plant Cell Physiology Laboratory

The History Scholarships candidate must be either non-French nationals or French scientists have spent two of the last three years at a foreign research institute. We invite candidates are motivated to send their application (CV and list of publications), as well as contact details of 2 referees.History Scholarships Experience in the field of plant genetics, protein biochemistry, confocal microscope and / or proteomics / bioinformatics is a plus. The project will begin in 2011 and is planned for 2 years. Funding is provided by the ANR (French National Research Agency), through a program Eurotalents CEA.

History Scholarships Description: Our work focuses on the role of the chloroplast envelope in the modulation of chloroplast biogenesis and function. For this project, we propose to identify new regulatory system that controls the targeting of nuclear encoded proteins to chloroplasts. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
http://thescholarshipprogramme.com
Using a multidisciplinary approach including biochemistry, bioinformatics, reverse genetics, proteomics and in vivo analysis of photosynthesis, we would expect: i) to determine the chloroplast proteins that are targeted by alternative pathways to plastids after their synthesis in the cytoplasm, ii) to explain the molecular nature of alternative pathways , as well as control mechanisms that modulate the efficiency and iii) to reveal their consequences on the physiology of photosynthesis in C3 plants.
